Announcement

The current management behind the FT team is different now.
U all may be wondering why did we switch from BoF to FT, here's several reasons.

1. the layout in FT is so much easier and organized. (we can't seem to find a good layout for BoF)
2. FT already have its own logo, and most people have already linked FT.

Do note that we have ammended the notes at the sidebar etc. ya.

Thank u.! Email us at : fashion.truth@gmail.com

Seller 54

Dear Fashion Truth,
We from Piperlips have recently sold an item 'CrissCross Ruffles' in white to a buyer. A few days after sending out the item, the buyer replied us sounding very upset. It seems like the top we sent her was full of yellow stains. But the thing is that the three of us went to the post office together to send out the item, and we can swear that it was pure white in our hands.

Anyways, she sent us photos of the stains which she says she took under the sunlight, and it looked like as though someone had poured coffee all over it. Attached here are the photos, FT please post them up for all to see. [view picture above]

We were really shocked upon seeing the item's condition because we worn it on once for modelling [view picture above]. and then we sealed it back in the plastic bag. It was untouched, until the day we sent it out. And as you can see, the photo on our blog is in high resolution and the top is stainless. Could we have been that blind not to notice the huge obvious stains? After all, the top is white. The buyer claims that the stains can only be seen under the sunlight, and as we did our modelling indoors under white lights, i dont know if it was actually pre-stained or not.
At first, we offered a 50% refund to her and told her that she can keep the top as the stain was not directly our fault. But after much debating (via email) she insisted strongly on a full refund and sent us the photos, so we decided that it's only fair to her that we give her the full refund she wanted. Though we may incur some losses, but that's just how business is.
Im not writing in to point fingers at buyers or sellers, but i just want to inform buyers that they should be extra careful when checking their stocks. Before this case, we never knew that there are such stains which appear ONLY under sunlight. Now that we know, we definitely will be extra careful when checking our stocks. Also, we believe the top could have been damaged during delivery, but we have no way of proving that. We're just glad that out of our many items, we have only came across this sort of problem once.
To the buyer:
We're really sorry for this inconvenience caused, it was not intentional and we would definitely not send you a defected item on purpose to cause problems for ourselves. As you are a blogshop owner yourself, im sure you can understand that sometimes this sort of things happens without us intending for it to happen.

We would really appreciate it if you can reply us politely in future, for every email you sent to us is really harsh and rude. I know you're angry, but there is no need for rudeness and theats to complain about us on FT. It is business after all, and we dont want to get on anyone's bad side, and we hope you wouldnt get on ours. A little respect towards others wont hurt dear, angry words and rude comments are unnecessary.

No apology needed though, we dont blame you for being angry. For every thing, this case had motivated us to be of better service to you and other buyers out there. :)
Cheers.

Hello,

I was at the A Fair Weekend bazaar yesterday (28th,Saturday) at Soho KL and i find it to be very poorly publicized. Compared to other bazaars, this bazaar has more aunties and older ladies shopping rather than young girls. It was pretty empty too for such a wide, open space.

But anyways, i had a good time shopping. Bunny Noo was there and she was really friendly and cheerful, alot of smiles from her. :) I can imagine why most online shoppers only say nice stuff about her, she's very nice in person too. And i also met The Bouncing Bananas and Piperlips who were situated together. (Is Michelle Lim the same girl from both blogshops? or is she just a model?) They were all very friendly too, and they seem to have alot of fun. Very rowdy and loud girls, but in a good way. I wouldn't mind hanging out with them at all!

Lush Serendipity was there too, if im not mistaken just a few shops away from Bouncing Bananas. She didnt smile much when i was browsing through her items, but she was quite polite when answering questions. Her items were all very pretty, but i thought they were quite pricey.

These were mainly my observations, the few blogshops which actually caught my attention. The rest were all okay, nothing displeasing. But this bazaar seriously needs to work on publicizing their event. I dont think rentals are cheap for a place like that. Probably the only peple making lotsa money are the organizers themselves, no offense. Maybe on Sunday there are more people, who knows.

Dear FT,
I have been thinking of voicing this issue for quite some time.
As we are aware, currently teal has become one of our favourite colours whwen purchasing clothes and I have often come across many online shops selling clothes stating this colour.
I would just like to highlight that these shops should thoroughly study the actual meaning and definition of the colour 'teal' before stating it in reference to their clothes.
Teal according to dictionary definitions is actual ' a blue-green colour or of a bluish shade of green or equal parts of blue and green'.
This colour below is obtained from wikipedia.
Yet recently, many blogs state teal as the colour of the clothes but when you purchase it either turns out blue or green. I have many times experienced this situation and so have my friends. I am truly fed up of such events happening. probably it would be beneficial if these store owners actually studied the definitions of this colour prior to stating it in their blogs. It would be much better to state it as more to greenish or more to blue than stating teal as the colour.
Some blogs even state blue as turquoise. And once you've purchased it, its just plain blue.
It is a necessity for sellers to know the colours deeply before tagging it to the clothing that they are selling. There is a significance difference between teal and turquoise and also light blue and green. It would be safer as I've stated to tag it as greenish blue or blusih green, then its up to the buyer to judge.
In the casee I've encountered, although checked multiple times, the item received still deceives the purpose.
Quite dissapointing, hopefully our sellers would be more careful in tagging. Not everything is either teal or turquoise just because thats the 'IN' colour now. Some are plain baby blue.
No offence to anyone but some examples beow of some clothing with different colour codings.
The Clossette states it as green where as Piper Lips states it as teal.

The Dainty Dresser states as teal where as TicTacToe states as Turquoise. (I believe its more to turquoise blue).
-a dissapointed buyer-
