The current management behind the FT team is different now.
U all may be wondering why did we switch from BoF to FT, here's several reasons.

1. the layout in FT is so much easier and organized. (we can't seem to find a good layout for BoF)
2. FT already have its own logo, and most people have already linked FT.

Do note that we have ammended the notes at the sidebar etc. ya.

Thank u.! Email us at : fashion.truth@gmail.com

Reader 164 & Seller 36

continuation from *click*

------------
dear FT,

I would like to clarify again, the seller did not mentioned anything about size S - L . She only mentioned the tops are suitable for UK10 and below that. I am in between UK8 - UK10. I've bought clothes from rainbowmallows, an-old-flame, ablinc, cocogoddess, LovelyLolitas, shopaholicsU, etc etc. And have never had any problems with them. They are always truthful & sincere, and never give me fake or false information.

Yes, she did send me information for the measurements of shirt laying flat. No doubt that i think it will fit. but these measurements may not be accurate because it is different when it is worn on a person.

(i am sure experienced buyer or seller wud know)

Hence, I voiced my concerns to her, and she told me to not to worry.

Below is our conversation

melly:
interested... suitable for what sizes babe? or do u have measurements?

BSA:
hi babe! the fashion transformer is free size. It fits up to UK size 10!
here the measurement : Length- 70cm, Pit to Pit- 38.5cm
co let me know whether you wanna reserve a piece for urself ya! :)
Thanks <3

melly:
hi
i am very interested in 3 colors...
however, just worried abt the size.. especially the bust area.. :S

BSA:
hmm don't worry dear, the bust area is wide though :) so i guess shouldn't be a problem! :)
so dear, which colours are you interested in? let me know ya! Thanks :)

(this part is not particularly aimed at BSA, it is something i think all blogshop owners should be aware of)
I never disagree BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK or the policy of NO EXCHANGE OF NO REFUND. As an online seller, we should provide clear information to buyers as they cannot try.

But what if a seller send you the blouse which is torn or stained or worse, provide wrong information so you will purchase them? OF course, if it is torn or stained, the buyer could actually denied it and claim that she had checked the goods that they were perfect when she sent out, SAME thing, the seller could just denied she gave WRONG information, because she ASSUMED every size L has big boobs, and every size M has small boobs? this is not necessarily true. everyone has different body shapes and sizes

If you dont know, if you are not sure, Just tell the buyer you are not sure. Then, it is really BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Then, It will be my fault. Then I wouldn't have bought three same shirts from her.

We online buyers can only choose to trust what ever the seller says. They give us information about the clothes, and we can only believe it as we, buyers cannot see the actual thing or try it. We rely on the information provided to purchase clothes, and SHE, from BSA, in my opinion, just failed in doing so, and she just doesn't want to face the fact.

I am not asking for a refund anymore, as a seller myself, I have sold the clothes, by providing exact, clear information to my buyers. I have seen buyers like rainbowmallows, an-old-flame, ablinc, cocogoddess, lovelylolitas, (my apologies for ppl that i have missed out) they are way friendly, they make you their friends. Even though their things are more expensive, buyers go back to them because of their sincerity, honestly & friendliness. We have long emails, long chat...

conclusion, i think in online business, its not about who's clothes are more expensive or who's are cheaper. THEY have their reasons for selling at a higher price & there are reasons why buyers go back to them, as buyers trust them.
But there is NOT EVEN ONE REASON, for seller to lie & to be unethical, so you get business quick and fast.

(* she said i wanna buy her clothes ASAP, isn't that funny? not only she wasn't grateful i purchase all 3 from her, and i did it fast, she blame me for buying her clothes ASAP!! HAHA!! how funny is that )

i dont think she's seeing the whole reason why i'm upset, rather, i find that she's more concern about protecting her business & herself.

dear friends, i am just disappointed in such act.
(wouldn't you be angry if you were in my shoes?)

Hi FT,

To be honest, This incident upsets me a lot. However, i do not have much time for all these . As i said earlier i started this online blogshop out of my passion in fashion, not for time-wasting argument like this. How many times she wants me to clarify that i DO NOT CHEAT HER!

I provided the measurement as she wants it, i told her the shirt actually fits up to UK size 10. Well, IT IS! She said i provided her false information, but excuse me which part of information is false? I gave her MY OPINION on this matter, i repeat, MY OPINION. I said i GUESS it shouldn't be a problem, i repeat, GUESS. And she agreed to buy it. I didn't force her to buy it. If she herself isn't sure, she should have asked more questions like bra cup size and etc. Okay, i know, you're gonna say we should have provided you those information. how much information do you expect the owner to provide to you??? Posting up photos of the cloth on different sized models? I would repeat once and for all: if u think your body size is not within the 'normal range' of S- L size, pls take more initiative to ask more questions. We owners are not mind-readers. We can't just provide everything for every buyer. If you really want to us to judge it for you, SEND IN YOUR FULL BODY LENGTH PHOTO! Or do you expect us to ask it from you?

I really regret for giving opinion to such a buyer! "Buyers purchase at their own risk" the term is made so clear since ice age. Enough said. The decision is on her whether to buy or not after my opinion. I did not push her to purchase it. That's the only thing i can say. Once again, since she decided to purchase it, the terms and conditions are thus applied. That's clear isn't it? What more can i say when she starts to find more and more unscrupulous reasons to make me even upset?

According to her, "she said i wanna buy her clothes ASAP, isn't that funny? not only she wasn't grateful i purchase all 3 from her, and i did it fast, she blame me for buying her clothes ASAP!! HAHA!! how funny is that". Please, now you really makes me regret for selling those clothes to you.

"i dont think she's seeing the whole reason why i'm upset, rather, i find that she's more concern about protecting her business & herself." Well do you see the reason why i'm so angry? Which sellers do not protect their business image? Especially against customers we see as unreasonable.

Finally (and i hope it really is final), I don't see any point to argue on this matter again and again! This will be my last reply. Sorry if i sounded rude. I didn't want to but i was left no choice.

p/s : Thanks to those readers who stated their opinions in reference to this matter.we appreciated those who understand the circumstances.

Dear FT,

i dont agree with Brown Sugar Addict. Free size means a lot of things. Some Free size can fit S-M, some can fit S-XL. I dislike sellers that name their clothes Free Size.

When a buyer question about the bust area, means the buyer has bigger bust than others. Brown Sugar Addict should already be aware that the buyer might be a person with bigger bust. but from what i see, she just provided "on the ground" measurements, in my opinion, BSA didn't really answer the questions/concern of the buyer.

I don't think Reader 153 is unethical, she is just upset. But for Brown Sugar Addict to confirmed wrong information (she said the bust size is wide enough), I guess a seller shouldn't be like that

I think that Brown Sugar Addict should at least refund 50% of the money to Reader 153.

Hi there,

Im an online shopper myself, personally i've never bought anything from BSA.
But i think that it's reasonable for BSA not to offer the buyer a full refund and more so, gracious of her to offer her a refund at all.
especially since it's stated in her blog that it's not refundable.what's the point in blogshops even stating that on their sites if no one regards it?
Maybe BSA didnt give the buyer enough information or maybe the buyer didnt ask abough questions , we wouldlnt know.
if it were me and i was concerned about the chest size i would just ask what cup (brasize) it would fit.
I personally dont think it's fair to shop owners when a customer's item dont fit or they decide they dont want it anymore.
perhaps it was the blog owners fault for editting a few points here and there and that's deffinitely wrong.
but if the customer doesnt ask? i see no wrong in anything if the owner refuses to offer her a refund.
and contrary to what the customer thinks, refunds deffinitely apply to stains and rips only ( in most blogshops and probably in online shopping everywhere)
i've encountered many things ive bought online that didnt fit. but i knew it was my fault for not asking enough.
i think im done here.sorry for being so long winded. but we really shouldnt attack blog shops , because admit it or not we all love online shopping and this is just discouraging blogshop owners.

p.s no offence to either party.

, by stander.

Dear Fashion Truth,

I have been an avid reader of your blog to hear views of both sellers and buyers to share their personal experience with online shopping be it good or bad. I am also a shopaholic who loves to buy online, actually my whole wardrobe it fill only with clothes from blog. But here, I need to vent my frustration on some of the buyers who are really making no sense on some of the emails. I love shopping online and I would not want to lose these Bloggers so here is my point of view

To buyer

1. Reader 153 – I agree with Brown Sugar Addict. All purchase are final and not- refundable. These are very fundamental rule of buying online, you buy at your own risk. As simple as that. To support further on this, reason why online shopping with blogs is much cheaper than buying online is because there is no facilities for trying, what you see on the screen is what you get, hence the lower price. If you want to be certain on buying the perfect size, by all means, visit a proper boutique. I applaud to Brown Sugar Addict for refunding 1 pc to her.

(from FT : not all blogshops are cheaper than outside boutiques. some are cheaper, some are not.)

To all buyers out there, you guys got to be fair to your sellers. You want super low price, you want great customer service, you want excellent delivery but you are only willing to pay peanuts, is this fair? If there are no more Bloggers to serve your needs anymore, you will need to pay thru your nose to the boutiques out there. No more fancy clothes, no more value buy. Would you like that? Think about it

I may be long winded in my explanations, but seriously please stop fretting and whine like a baby. You like an item, you agree on the price, you buy, otherwise just don't, as simple as that. How else would you like this to be explained to you? There is no science needed.

To sellers

I have read most of the complains where the buyers has been complaining about your rudeness, harsh emails and demanding meets. If you want your business to continue, you girls got to buck up; otherwise you will start loosing you customers one by one.

Stop condemning your other blog owner counterparts, you are here to make a decent earning, they are here to do the same. So why kill each other? There is always room to attract more customers to buy your items, you just got to find your niche. Trying to back stab and condemn other blog site will not make your site far more superior, so do think carefully

Reader 153 & Seller

Hi There..

I bought some items from this girl. It is a button BF shirt. And i was clearly concern abt the bust area. I told the seller my concerns and she said that i dont have to worry, the bust area is clearly very wide. I trusted her and bought 3 items from her.

After receiving my items. I found out she had lied to me just so she can sell off the clothes. How unethical is that. Than again, it is my fault for trusting her isnt it?
But I am just disappointed in such unethical seller.

I demanded for a refund. And I was kind enuff to tell her to refund me 2 items enuff. I will try to sell off one. She keeps on telling me there is no exchange or refund, clearly stated in her blog. I argued with her, and just offered to refund one only. I dont think I did anything wrong & I think it is she who shud be thankful i did not ask for full refund.

As we know, that applies for ppl who bought their items and dont like them. That dont apply if the clothes have stain or torn or if the seller provides false info, just so they can make profit.

disappointed,
M.

(FT : just to simplify things a bit, the issue is this buyer was interested in buying the BF shirt, but she's afraid that the bust area is not wide enough for her. but after the owner confirmed that "the bust area is wide enough", the buyer bought 3 of the same BF shirt from the owner, all in colours. After she got the clothes, she's unable to fit in them and requested for a refund for at least two of the BF shirt, but the owner refused and only agreed to refund one of the BF Shirt. thus, the buyer is not very happy)

the blog shop owner :
Brown Sugar Addict

Hi Fashion Truth,

First of all, i would like to clarify that i DID NOT cheat that lady as what she mentioned. I have been doing this business for the past 3 months and i have never receive any complaint nor did i have met a customer like her. As we sellers/buyers know, most of the clothes, not all, we purchase from blogshop are free-size. When we mean "free size", it means even a normal L-sized people can wear it. Well, for this case, maybe just maybe, that lady is under the XL-sized category. In another words, buyer should tell the seller her size before she makes her purchase if she thinks she is out of the S to L category. She did enquire about the burst area of the cloth (which is the only thing she enquired), and i told her it is WIDE enough which in fact is, for S to L-sized people! Maybe if she have told me her "actual" size then things may not be same. I actually sent her the measurement for the shirt!

Next, "BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK". I daresay all buyers are aware of this. I'm a buyer too and i shop online all the time and i have met such situation before and believe me, i have never ask for a refund for clothes that i can't fit! Because i truly understand and respect the meaning of "BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK". If she is, as she said, a Reviewer-cum-Online Seller, she should understand that too! if a customer really want to make sure that the clothes fits them perfectly, i suggest that customer shop at a real boutique. just imagine this, if buyers request for a refund because the clothes cannot fit them, what will happen to sellers? and if other customer finds out that the seller accept "refunds", wouldn't customers just send in their clothes and ask for a refund just because it doesn't fit them? i honestly dont think that it's fair for the sellers. i believe all sellers can understand how i feel right now. it really angers me to think about it.

She keeps on mentioning that she is kind enough to offer refund for two pieces only. in fact, I feel i'm the one that is kind enough to offer her refund for one piece. We already stated that "NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-EXCHANGABLE" under our terms and conditions unless the cloth is torn or obvious colour difference than promised. When you decided to make purchase, aren't you bounded by the terms and conditions applied? Next, through the way she communicate with us, in our opinion, she was rude, disrespectful and not understanding at all. (who ever wants to read what she wrote to me can make a request) She kept on saying i provided her the wrong information and kept insulting me, saying i'm UNETHICAL. She never really communicate nicely to me as far as i know. She said that "I found out she had lied to me just so she can sell off the clothes". But excuse me, i posted up the cloth for the first day only and she straight away want all 3 pieces that left available. So, is it me that wants to sell off the clothes ASAP or is it she the one who wants to buy ASAP?

Original price for one piece = RM50
CNY promo: 10% discount for each item exclusive postage fee (Purchase above RM150)
Total price for three pieces = RM135 exclusive postage

She requested for RM130 inclusive free postage which i really can't take it but we finally gave her the discount which is RM 135 inclusive of postage.

Finally, i would leave this matter to the readers to judge it. I can crossed my finger and swear to God that i am an honourable person. I do not cheat customers! I started this business out of my passion for fashion, and it's this kind of customer that let you down and rethinks whether you should continue doing it.

*About the sizing problem that i discussed above, i DID NOT mean to hurt anyone out of the S to L category. I'm just referring to this matter. NO OFFENCE! Thanks.
