Hello, this is gracenglinglee here. I'm writing in as I have heard from an old friend of mine (which is an e-seller herself as well) that my name was published in this fashion-truth blogsite. Honestly, I have never came across this blogsite but I think this would do us all good. Sadly, some e-sellers take this as a place to lash out at the buyers just because they can't comply to the customers' problems instead of fixing it up for them.
Well, let's just see if this make us buyers any justice.
First of, I made an order for a trousers, which is of course 'skinny jeans'. I did not make any orders for any sort name 'terusers'.
Secondly, I am very well aware of the terms and conditions apply. The blogshop (ADDICTED2FASHION), only gave a measurements of this:- S, M, L, XL. I was confused so I sent an email stating that I am very interested in the skinny jeans but I am not sure what size would fit me because:- 1) different sizes for different cutting and material type, 2) it might be different sizes as from where the attire came from especially if it's a bottom (where its made).
The seller replied my email within a day asking what colour and size do I want? I told her my waistline is depending on the cutting (26”/27” sometimes 28") and its 'black'. She then replied me instantly saying that it's M size that would fit me.
It was my mistake that I did not take down the seller's account and phone number in advance. My home Internet was busted for almost 2 months now and I still find time to go to the cyber cafe just to email the seller, just for her phone number and apologizing to her of my situation, which was only a week away (which the seller claimed it took me a month?).
Having said this, I would also like to clarify that the seller did not in any manner, made any apologies to my issue concern. When the 'jeans' arrived' that fine day, I tried on it, and to my amusement, it did not fit me as it was 2x bigger than my size. So I SMSed her, I thanked her for the jeans with stating that it is too big for me.
When she replied the second, asking me whether I would wanna change it and also where do I stay (which I thought that she was very nice), I was totally ecstatic. I agreed to the idea of changing so I asked her where could I change it?
She then replied in the SMS
''I'm from sri petaling KL. If possible for u to come down here, sri petaling. Den ok v me :)"
I told her that I do not know where's that exactly as I've never been there (I'm from Klang). I also quoted that if it's somewhere in Subang, it'll be very convenient for me.
I did not insist on anywhere within my convenience ONLY. She did not reply me after that. I waited and waited. Then I sent her a last message that night with this
“then it's a no? It's ok then. I'm willing to wait. Just let me know. Thanks.”
I felt that this seller is really unreasonable or rather should I say, unable to handle problems? Because she did not want to sort out this issue concerning her clothes sold and decided to totally ignore it.
I blew off when she just replied in this manner which I think it was pretty ignorant and rude of her,
“Sry 4 late reply. Actuali I dont COD. So, I think its quite hard for u to change d item. Sry. Cos u cant come to my area too.”
That's just it? Is that how you sellers deal with customers' problem? Then what do you expect me to do with the oversized skinny jeans? You want me to throw it away? Make it into a dirty cloth or what? Give it to my mom to wear? My mom's 51 and do you think she wear skinnies?
Think about it. I bought the skinny jeans for RM40 and it's ain't a really good jeans material like you claimed it to be. Hey, I'm not complaining. I just don't wanna make a lost here neither do I want you to too. All I'm asking for is to give me a best solution to my problem. Why can't we all have a win-win situation instead of a win-lose situation? Furthermore, why do you think they came out with this slogan 'customers are always right'?
I offered her an extra RM10 for the inconvenience and she did even not reject it neither did she deny it (well, she claimed so in the earlier statements @ FT).
I did not mind paying her extra for the inconvenience I probably could cause her even though it wasn't my problem totally. It was her that gave me the measurement. She finally agreed to the deal and told me to post it back to her place at Sri Petaling.
For I thought everything was okay alongside my numerous apologies. She also requested me to visit her physical boutique at her area at Sri Petaling.
Then came this! -The complains about me @ FT.
I really do not understand what's really on her mind. Quoting with her stating all these untrue statements here on Fashion Truth about me? I find this really lame and an uneducated way to post about your customers.
I'd like to also clarify that the item only arrived one week after banking in RM50 (it was RM44) later unlike what she claimed on FT.
If you do not even know your materials well, do not hesitate to express it to your customers. You don't just simply give a measurement which you yourself is uncertain. This act is merely greedy of the seller of just wanting to earn fast money.
Are YOU (Chloe of Addicted2Fashion) not sensible and responsible enough to your customers' problem? You're not just complaining here but you have also added sugar and spices about the issue and I.
Well, you buyers out there, make the judgment yourselves and let me know whether am I being too much here for just asking for a change of the skinny jeans topping up with additional RM10 for the inconvenience caused. Understand that I too, do not wanna make a lost. I just want a sensible and reasonable solution.
I Grace Ng, hereby would like to state that everything here I claimed is 100% truth. I apologize should there be anything that I said are offensive or misjudged in anyway.
Thank you, Fashion Truth.
