Announcement

The current management behind the FT team is different now.
U all may be wondering why did we switch from BoF to FT, here's several reasons.

1. the layout in FT is so much easier and organized. (we can't seem to find a good layout for BoF)
2. FT already have its own logo, and most people have already linked FT.

Do note that we have ammended the notes at the sidebar etc. ya.

Thank u.! Email us at : fashion.truth@gmail.com

hello fashion truth :)

I'm sure you remember me - I wrote about my extremely unpleasant experience with Addicted-2fashion. And just in case anyone is wondering, I think the seller kinda "swept the matter under the carpet". I received no refund / replacement.

anyhow this time I write to tell you my extremely satisfactory and pleasant experience with QueenlyQueen Preoeder. http://queenlyqueenfashion.blogspot.com/ . I actually preordered in January before Chinese New Year, but due to various reasons that came up (which the seller is not at fault), I only received my dress today.

Anyway, there are so many reasons why I'm so happy with Queen.

1. I just had a bad experience with A2F. But I had already pre ordered the dress, and I wouldnt want to cancel the order. I requested that she send me the pictures of the dress when it arrives and I will settle my payment promtly. Well, she did. and it looked exactly the same as the model picture. apart from the material specifications, everything was perfect. No problems with length or whatsoever. I had no qualms about paying up.

2. Queen promised to send the parcel (I paid for pos ekspress as that one doesnt require signature...and I'm not at home always) on saturday. I requested for the tracking code on saturday. On sunday, I received a mail that read "Your order has been shipped out on Saturday, 04/04/09 using Skynet, as Pos Office didn't open on first Saturday, because you requested us to ship your item out a.s.a.p. without any delay after your payment, we do keep our promise.". I was astounded, and touched. to say the least. Queen really kept to her promise and used skynet(which i believe is more expensive than pos ekspress).

3. All the mails / correspondence was done in a most professional and polite manner.

I have no qualms about shopping at her site. As I was immensely pleased with everything, I decided to write this email to commend her blogshop. and to affirm that her pre orders shop is a good place...with good bargains/low prices as well (the dress I bought was RM30 and it was RM45 on A2F).

Thank you Queen! thank you fashion truth too! :)

Hello, this is gracenglinglee here. I'm writing in as I have heard from an old friend of mine (which is an e-seller herself as well) that my name was published in this fashion-truth blogsite. Honestly, I have never came across this blogsite but I think this would do us all good. Sadly, some e-sellers take this as a place to lash out at the buyers just because they can't comply to the customers' problems instead of fixing it up for them.

Well, let's just see if this make us buyers any justice.

First of, I made an order for a trousers, which is of course 'skinny jeans'. I did not make any orders for any sort name 'terusers'.

Secondly, I am very well aware of the terms and conditions apply. The blogshop (ADDICTED2FASHION), only gave a measurements of this:- S, M, L, XL. I was confused so I sent an email stating that I am very interested in the skinny jeans but I am not sure what size would fit me because:- 1) different sizes for different cutting and material type, 2) it might be different sizes as from where the attire came from especially if it's a bottom (where its made).

The seller replied my email within a day asking what colour and size do I want? I told her my waistline is depending on the cutting (26”/27” sometimes 28") and its 'black'. She then replied me instantly saying that it's M size that would fit me.

It was my mistake that I did not take down the seller's account and phone number in advance. My home Internet was busted for almost 2 months now and I still find time to go to the cyber cafe just to email the seller, just for her phone number and apologizing to her of my situation, which was only a week away (which the seller claimed it took me a month?).

Having said this, I would also like to clarify that the seller did not in any manner, made any apologies to my issue concern. When the 'jeans' arrived' that fine day, I tried on it, and to my amusement, it did not fit me as it was 2x bigger than my size. So I SMSed her, I thanked her for the jeans with stating that it is too big for me.

When she replied the second, asking me whether I would wanna change it and also where do I stay (which I thought that she was very nice), I was totally ecstatic. I agreed to the idea of changing so I asked her where could I change it?

She then replied in the SMS

''I'm from sri petaling KL. If possible for u to come down here, sri petaling. Den ok v me :)"

I told her that I do not know where's that exactly as I've never been there (I'm from Klang). I also quoted that if it's somewhere in Subang, it'll be very convenient for me.

I did not insist on anywhere within my convenience ONLY. She did not reply me after that. I waited and waited. Then I sent her a last message that night with this

“then it's a no? It's ok then. I'm willing to wait. Just let me know. Thanks.”

I felt that this seller is really unreasonable or rather should I say, unable to handle problems? Because she did not want to sort out this issue concerning her clothes sold and decided to totally ignore it.

I blew off when she just replied in this manner which I think it was pretty ignorant and rude of her,

“Sry 4 late reply. Actuali I dont COD. So, I think its quite hard for u to change d item. Sry. Cos u cant come to my area too.”

That's just it? Is that how you sellers deal with customers' problem? Then what do you expect me to do with the oversized skinny jeans? You want me to throw it away? Make it into a dirty cloth or what? Give it to my mom to wear? My mom's 51 and do you think she wear skinnies?

Think about it. I bought the skinny jeans for RM40 and it's ain't a really good jeans material like you claimed it to be. Hey, I'm not complaining. I just don't wanna make a lost here neither do I want you to too. All I'm asking for is to give me a best solution to my problem. Why can't we all have a win-win situation instead of a win-lose situation? Furthermore, why do you think they came out with this slogan 'customers are always right'?

I offered her an extra RM10 for the inconvenience and she did even not reject it neither did she deny it (well, she claimed so in the earlier statements @ FT).

I did not mind paying her extra for the inconvenience I probably could cause her even though it wasn't my problem totally. It was her that gave me the measurement. She finally agreed to the deal and told me to post it back to her place at Sri Petaling.

For I thought everything was okay alongside my numerous apologies. She also requested me to visit her physical boutique at her area at Sri Petaling.

Then came this! -The complains about me @ FT.

I really do not understand what's really on her mind. Quoting with her stating all these untrue statements here on Fashion Truth about me? I find this really lame and an uneducated way to post about your customers.

I'd like to also clarify that the item only arrived one week after banking in RM50 (it was RM44) later unlike what she claimed on FT.

If you do not even know your materials well, do not hesitate to express it to your customers. You don't just simply give a measurement which you yourself is uncertain. This act is merely greedy of the seller of just wanting to earn fast money.

Are YOU (Chloe of Addicted2Fashion) not sensible and responsible enough to your customers' problem? You're not just complaining here but you have also added sugar and spices about the issue and I.

Well, you buyers out there, make the judgment yourselves and let me know whether am I being too much here for just asking for a change of the skinny jeans topping up with additional RM10 for the inconvenience caused. Understand that I too, do not wanna make a lost. I just want a sensible and reasonable solution.

I Grace Ng, hereby would like to state that everything here I claimed is 100% truth. I apologize should there be anything that I said are offensive or misjudged in anyway.

Thank you, Fashion Truth.

dear Fashion Truth,

I'm a avid blogshopper since quite some time. After introduction by a few people, I decided to share my experience of being cheated by addicted2-fashion (addicted2-fashion.blogspot.com

).

I ordered (or pre-ordered, to be exact) from addicted2fashion about december. She gave the details of the dress as 90cm length.

I received my parcel a few days after cny. I got a huge shock. it was never mentioned that the black ribbon was not attached. (it looked attached to the dress.) but thats ok. what shocked me the most is that the length of the "dress" that came was 60cm. initially i thought it was a mistake. ...but a tube top? i was very angry and dissapointed. i sent her an email. if you will, continue to read the email posted here. nothing has been altered.

I feel cheated. Really cheated. what I see is NOT what i got. in your mail on 15 Dec, the white dress u said was

1. length : 90 cm. the one u gave me is 60cm.

" Oh. I knew that. But there's some problem with my computer or my blog that i couldn't type the price on. I'll try to fix it as soon as possible. Thank you for your concern. That white dress is RM39. The measurement is BUST:78-88cm ; LENGTH: 90cm " - from A2F email'

2.you did NOT mention that the black belt / ribbon is not included in your blog / emails. unless stipulated, i believe all who bought expected it to come with the black ribbon.
3. this is NOT chiffon. in fact, a3385 is NOT cotton.

"About your doubts, A3385 is a cotton while R9304 is a chiffon. A3385 have lining while R9304 doesn’t have. They fits from S up to big M. If you r a M, then, there’s no worries= ) Dresses’ sizes are quite consistent." - from A2F email

4. the workmanship is VERY SHABBY. There is thread pulling out here and there.

5. this is NOT worth the price i paid for both items. the white dress esp looks nothing like the modeled , and seems like a nightgown that i can buy for Rm 15.

and when i ask for her refund, here's our conversation like :

My dear, the G20478 oso have Necklace on the photo. does it meant i hv 2 give it 2 customers? The models have so many additional items on her. Does it mean i hv 2 give it al 2 u? You did not ask, not dat i did not tell. I hv no time to tell you everything. If you are so fussy, dun buy tings online okay? Some other online shops. Like www.yinhoo1.com.cn. just simply send u a item(watever they got, maybe rubbish bins!) if d item is out of stock.
You cannot get 100% high class NICE CLOTHES, NICE CUTTING, NICE QUALITY, ONLINE, WITH SUCH A LOW PRICES. Sry, but do notice our terms and conditions.

I refund 2 u and? den I rugi teruk. RM39. I earn very little with the price I sell the items. Or i get bk d dress? Wat can i do with the dress? Yes, i noe yours is different in terms of measurements. but everyone who doesnt like the item wil say its not same. if every1 oso i refund, i store the clothes at my hse for wat. So, wats ur wish? No refund, no exchange, sry. Sold item(s) are not exchangable or refundable. <<>

i really think that this seller is really impolite. And apart from that, in my opinion, this is cheating customers. I'm highlighting this experience so that people can stay away / avoid this website in order to not get cheated. be careful of preorders... especially of sellers who don't keep to their word and don't ensure that customers get goods that they're promised. quality is disputable...but length?

I attach the photos involved : the promised one (model) and the actual goods.

thank you

CLARIFICATION from Addicted to Fashion

Please post this up on your blog. I have edited a little bit.

What I want to clarify and I hope you could clarify for us is dat I May have mistaken typed 90 into 60cm. And That might be the mistake from our supplier too! So, der's nth much i could do. I hope you could post up this one too.

gracenglinglee

This customer, she is unhappy about the size. She's S but she bought M size torusers. Its totally not my fault. and she asked for change at subang. which i cant reach. also, i try to change for her. by postage. and lots lots of things. She offered RM10 extra for the trouble and apologized. I did not want to receive but she said I dont need to pay her back. She felt sorry. And I too, felt guilty. I changed although stated

Sold item(s) are not exchangable or refundable

I actually do change my item. Provided the customer is friendly and good. You dont ask people to change by nagging, scolding and complaining. This customer is quite rude and unpatient. The first thing she told me was I was cheating her without my clarification and complaining non-stop without any consideration from my side. We sellers have feelings too! I have no time to entertain all her needs my dear.

Not paying for 1 month, and after pay, keep complaining dat i havent send 2 her. After send, complain havent receive.
Is that my fault that Post express send items late? I have given her tracking code.

After receive, complain item that is not right.

Since, there's nothing much I could do, I could only apologize to the customer which i DID say sorry.
I will be more careful in the future clothes measurements when dealing with customers although Human do make mistakes, and i admit. I did. I have sold more than 150 pcs without problem and customers praised a lot about my items. Lastly, Sorry for the mistake i did.
To ensure better service in future, we offer money back guarantee that our items are 99% the same as the picture.

Thanks.

Lovesss,
