Seller 40
hi! i'm a blogshop owner, and recently there's this girl that bought one of our dresses. but when the dress arrived at her place, it didn't fit her well. but we're really glad that this buyer understood and fully accepted our terms & conditions of the "not returnable nor exchangable" policy. she merely asked for a favour for us to help resell her items if there were any other buyers asking for the same dress =)
it really makes our day to receive such understanding buyers. and yes, i truly hope that buyers would be more willing to accept this policy. i agree that unless there is a stain/hole/defect on the item, then only it can be returned with no questioned asked.
speaking of returning items. there was once we sold a top to this buyer, but due to certain reasons, there was an unpleasant smell on the top. we felt really really bad about it because the buyer was really disappointed so we decided to compensate her by giving her another top for free of charge..
i believe there are different ways in handling these type of matters. but point is, if the item does not fit u, then i don't think exchanging/returning/refunding should be applied. it's not fair for the sellers then. as buyers, u have to ask sufficient questions to get a clear idea of the item that u were thinking of buying. shop wisely ya!
and for buyers who bought their stuff but wants to sell it off because it cannot fit them, i suggest u send in your request to pagefromthediary or shoppingcritique.
i personally put up request to sell of a few of my items and were mostly successful.
thanks. good job FT.
