U all may be wondering why did we switch from BoF to FT, here's several reasons.

1. the layout in FT is so much easier and organized. (we can't seem to find a good layout for BoF)
2. FT already have its own logo, and most people have already linked FT.

Reader 182

Dear Fashion Truth,
I just had a very harrowing and dissapointing experience with online shopping. I have bought two dresses and I have asked the blog owner to ensure that the delivery is done on a WEEKDAY at my OFFICE.
I made the payment on Wednesday afternoon and the blog owner said that she will deliver it on Thursday to ensure that I receive it on Friday.
However, today I have not received anything. According to the Pos Express Customer Service, the item was only sent off last night which means that it is only being processed today which means that it will only be delivered tomorrow which is a SATURDAY.
My point is: There is a reason why we specifically ask for delivery to be made on WEEKDAYS and if you look at the delivery address you will see that it is an OFFICE address hence PLEASE la put two and two together and use some common sense!
I called Pos Express and gave the tracking number and they said, "yes it will be delivered only on Saturday (tomorrow)." The reason why it cant be delivered today was because the blogshop owner sent the package AFTER collection hours yesterday!
I asked them if they can deliver it on Monday when there will be people in the office but they said they cant do anything as the system is not even updated.
My complaint here is NOT about how long it takes the item to arrive. Its about making it arrive on WEEKDAYS!
Some of us live alone and do not work weekends, have these blog owners thought about that!? Why did she send the item at NIGHT knowing that these things take time to process?
Pos Express people said that they will either leave the package on the letter box (I doubt it would fit) or leave a note and then i have to freakin' go to the post office to collect it!!!!
HOW inconvenient can????
There is a reason why we pay for delivery service ok! NOT to sit here all weekend and wonder if our package will get stolen or not and run around during our very short and precious lunch times on weekdays to some post office to try and collect a package that we paid to be delivered to us in the first place!
Please use some sense cos its really NOT fair!

By the way, when I call the blog owner she answered only once and replied only two of my smses. Then she remained quiet. Senang jer lepas tangan kan?

i think it's very inconsiderate of the seller to do something like that. sellers who have been in business for quite some time now should know there's a cut-off time for both pos laju and pos express. even if they dont know, after receiving a special request from the buyer to receive it on a weekday, the seller should get further details from the post office on whether the parcel will arrive on a weekday or not.

in this email, it was stated the seller post it out at night. at night??? come on! everyone knows that postmen dont work through out the night. what does the seller expect? simply posting it and tell the buyer that it's posted and their job is all done?

even if she couldn't make it to the post office on time, before the cut off time, then she could at least post it out the next day !! if she posted it out on saturday before the cut off time, it'll reach on monday.

i bet all buyers would prefer to receive it one day late rather than going through all the hassle and trouble to go to the post office to collect it. i totally agree with what this reader wrote about "there is a reason why we pay for delivery service".
it's for their convenience! now what sort of convenience there is now??

normally if its a saturday, post offices do not drop off the items at office addresses. they might try and if it doesn't work, they'll drop it off again on a weekday. that's for pos laju

but if its in the case of pos express, and it's an office address, they'll just leave it in the office's mailbox.

i'm not sure are the postal services diff in other ares but these are my own experiences

Hi, as a working online shopper, I do understand inconveniences we face regarding delivery, but I think we should all bear in mind that most blogshop owners don't do it as a full-time job, in fact some have their own 9-5 jobs and are only doing this as a hobby. In terms of personal experience, there were plenty of times when delivery was done when my family wasn't home and I had to go collect from the centre myself (you can also always ask them to re-deliver it on another day -they will tolerate failed deliveries twice), but I also had sellers who sent my items asap when I mentioned I wanted it for an upcoming occasion. I think it's all give-and-take in the online world of shopping. There's a difference between tolerating the untolerable and just being plain understanding.
