Hi FT,

While surfing blogshops I notice that some have embedded mp3 players that automatically play music when the page loads. I find this rather annoying as chances are if I want to listen to music, I'd already have a media player open on my computer; if I don't have music already on, that means I'd rather use my computer in relative quiet. Either way I find blogshops which embed auto-playing music into their sites a turn off - if I can't find the mp3 player on the page to shut off the music I usually close the page out of irritation, which is a potential loss of business as the unwanted music usually turns me away before I've perused the page properly. Wondering if other shoppers feel the same? Perhaps you could put up a poll in this entry if you publish this so blogshops can gauge if music is a good/bad thing to have on their sites.
