Hi FT!
As a spectator to the drama surrounding the Monash Music Festival/Retail Therapy Bazaar, I would like to put in a positive word for two vendors I bought from during the bazaar. It was my first offline event despite frequently shopping online, and the owners of Luvcozy and Kyo's-fashion really went that extra mile to provide me with a wonderful shopping experience.
Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised and touched when the owner of Luvcozy threw in a medium-sized adorable teddy bear handphone accessory FREE, although my only purchase was a detachable 2-piece silver ring (inspired by TVB series Gem of Life) for the affordable price of RM15. The profit margin couldn't have been that high after factoring in rental fees, packaging and the freebie, as the ring is solid and quite large in size. After checking out Luvcozy online, despite the blogshop using catalogue pictures, the actual items I saw at the bazaar look as pretty as they do online - including the charm bracelets.
Kyo's-fashion's owner was also very friendly and sweet :) I bought a cute cloth-flower scrunchie which she told me was hand sewn. Seeing that I was hestitating and considering whether to get the scrunchie, she provided some tips on how I could wear the scrunchie and still look trendy. She even helped me to put my hair into a bun and tie the scrunchie around it after I told her I wasn't very good with hair fashion. It was especially sweet of the owner as my hair was damp and sticky from the hot weather! After, I was even shown a pic of my hairstyle which she took with her own camera to make sure I was okay with the hairstyle. In my opinion, it was great PR and customer service on Kyo's-fashion's part for a RM7 purchase.
Sceptics would probably remark that the service from both blogshops was good only because visitors to the bazaar were scarce at that time, and vendors wanted sales. But nevertheless, whether genuine or otherwise, the friendliness and consideration of these two blogshop owners gave me something to smile about for the rest of the day ^^
Thank you very much, Luvcozy and Kyo's-fashion, as well as FT for posting this up! :)
