Dear FT,
Firstly, I would like to wish kudos to your site as it has opened many eyes & broaden many minds! Can understand that it may be a little 'unpopular' with certain blogshop owners but like they say, any publicity is good publicity!!
I've been reading the previous letters from readers & yes, I would like to agree that Autumn's Closet is expensive together with a few other blogshops like Lush Serendipity, Jovy's Closet, Coco Goddess, Chubby A Bit, Rainbowmallows, Mezzanine, Lacquer & Lace and Tic Tac Toe, although I'll admit that sometimes a few of their items are acceptably priced.
So this is how i think about it : buyers will just have to pay a 'premium' when buying from more popular blogs, just like buying from branded boutiques :) Although it's quite ridiculous because logically thinking, wouldn't a more popular & established blogshop be getting better prices from suppliers?
(from FT : this may/may not be true, there are many reasons on why prices are higher, do read *click*)
On a different note however, buyers must also understand that certain clothes may look just plain & simple but it doesn't necesasarily mean it's cheaper coz the quality of the material may be better than a more complicated designed one..
As for the price comparisons, I think it's a great idea, but yea, I think it should be renamed to Fashion Alternatives or something, as we can't really know for sure if the item we're comparing is EXACTLY the same unless you're a buyer just like me who buys the same item but in different colours from various e-boutiques. That way, we will know for sure as we can check whether the label is the same =)
Well, that's all I have to say this time around. And oh yea, one more thing, I think blogshop owners should not model their clothes holding or standing beside their pet dogs as I think it is a little inconsiderate to our Muslim friends!
Have a good day all & I hope no offence has been taken. Thanks for publishing this FT!
