Hello hello FT,

I always believe that buyers should provide their body size infos and also voice out any concerns regarding size fittings, do not hestitate to ask sellers more questions. And as sellers, we should not only give accurate measurements but as a form of courtesy, offer our assistance. No doubt we are our own bosses and we can do whatever we like, but that doesnt mean we cant follow some examples from those mall assistants. (the helpful ones like from Topshop, not the pestering ones from Elements) And i learnt that the hard way, after a few bad fall outs with past customers. The bottomline is simple, be courteous always, even if the buyers give you shit sometimes.

Referring to the BUST ISSUE from Reader 161, yes it's really important for bustier girls when it comes to buying clothes. Usually my bustier customers would take a size or two bigger (especially for buttoned BF shirts or v-neck dresses).
After all those negative stories that have been published lately, i will be sharing one of my more positive experiences for judging bust sizes:


"A customer texted me regarding our BF-shirt batch (in OCT 2008) asking for the size fitting for two different designs; A (Morning After Boyfie) and B (Checkered Boyfie). She told me she was a Size UK8, and i immediately told her that both would fit her as my partner is a UK8 and she was able to wear both designs A & B.

She agreed to get both. But later on, she texted me again asking for my partner's cup size.
I didnt feel comfortable disclosing such private information which was not my own and so i told her that i didnt know. (After all, i really didnt know and didnt really find it nice to ask)
She then confessed that she's 'quite busty' and that she's not sure if she can fit into them.

I assured her that judging from the give of the fabric, she's able to fit both.
She replied by asking me to wear a D-cup bra and try both on. (lol)

Of course, that was one of the weirdest request i ever got from a customer but then, it actually made sense.
So i loaned my mother's D-cup maternity bra and put it on,stuffed it full with tissue and cotton.
And surprisingly, Design A sort of popped at the bust area while Design B was still well fitted.
Putting on a bra 2 times my size taught me something after all.

I thanked her for her brilliant idea of course, and she generously bought both colors of Design B. She called me after receiving the package and told me it fitted her nicely. :)"


So bust sizes do make a difference when it comes to fitting in certain clothes. This is something that all sellers should take note of, and perhaps use this method for estimation in future.
Just by doing this, it will be helpful in avoiding anymore scenarios like what happened between Reader 153 & buyer.
