Announcement

The current management behind the FT team is different now.
U all may be wondering why did we switch from BoF to FT, here's several reasons.

1. the layout in FT is so much easier and organized. (we can't seem to find a good layout for BoF)
2. FT already have its own logo, and most people have already linked FT.

Do note that we have ammended the notes at the sidebar etc. ya.

Thank u.! Email us at : fashion.truth@gmail.com

this is for all the Victoria Secret fan out there (including us, FT!)
most of these e-shops have the bags readily on hand. we know that there are many sites out there doing pre-order sprees for VS items, but buyers are advised to do your homework to see which one is the cheapest. currently, the newbie in town - Pure Whis'per is selling VS bags at the lowest price. however, limited collection. but anyway, hope all u VS fans are able to get your favourite bags at good deals yo.

Hi FT, what a great blog you have here!

I really want to voice out my BAD experience with a blogshop. *sighs* I won't tell the blogshop's name.
I bought this BF Tee from this blogshop, and the quality was really good. Love it to bits. For the second time, I bought 3 cute tees from her. Everything was perfect when I collected from her. After I washed the shirts for the first time (before I even wore it), the colors came off! The shirts were screwed. Patches of black on the white shirts! I was really disappointed about it cause 1 shirt causes me RM25, and 2 shirts faced the same problem, and the quality of the shirts are really bad. So, totally I've wasted RM50.
I sent her an e-mail saying that the shirts have problems. She said she was sorry, and she said different people have different ways of washing their clothes. But the problem is, how do I know that I have to wash the shirts in her way?! I looked through her policies again, she said NO refund/exchange, and not responsible for any loss/damages upon delivery of items. So, I thought I could request for refund or at least an exchange since the damages were not caused during the delevery, but caused by the quality of the shirts.

In the email, I didn't mentioned about cheating, but when she replied, the first thing she said was "excuse me??? now, you're saying until like I cheat you like that...". That was when I got angry. Is this the treatment I supposed to get after I purchased clothes with such bad quality?! In the email, she even admitted that her shirts are bad quality. She said things like, "this is an online shop, you shouldn't expect too much". I never faced these blogshop owners before, she has totally revealed her true self in the email. She also said, "I open this blogshop to satisfy my customers", but you're not satisfying me!
I was really disappointed, but I replied her email and stated everything nicely, so that she won't get offended. She understood, and she did an experiment on her own shirt, and she took pictures during the process of washing and the final results; however, it's not the way that I washed it. She don't allow exchange/refund, and she only offered me 30% discount for the next item I purchase from her.
Grrr! I got frustrated, but I don't wanna argue anymore. So, I said I accepted it. In the end, I asked the seller not to get the shirts from the suppliers anymore cause I'm sure someone would use the same way as I washed it.

So,
I just want all the online buyers to know that, they should ask the sellers how to wash the clothes, so that you all won't face the same problem as mine.

Dear FT,

Our blogshop has been following your blog :) Anyway, all these while we've read so much about complaints and clarifications that we thought we should send happy posts :)

The story's like this:
This buyer, called Fairyha ordered one of our clothes called Grab! . She filled in the order form and asked us to sms her about the banking details so we did. :) she then replied to ask if we do COD around Serdang/Cheras area. We told her that we don't, and said we only do CODs at Kelana Jaya LRT station if the need arises - so she agreed to COD with us there on Friday.

When Friday came, we sent her an sms to remind her and she said she'd be late for about 15 mins. It was raining so it's understandable.
She got lost finding her way to KJ lrt station, and when she has finally reached, her phone ran out of battery. she called me from a public phone and said she has reached. so I met up with her after waiting for quite sometime, not knowing how to contact her and that cute malay babe came running to me! She wanted Grab! in two colours so i gave her another one which she chose, and she gave me RM 60 when it was actually only RM 58 for 2. I insisted on giving her the change but SHE on the other hand, insisted as well.

It's really not about the RM 2, it's about how a customer would go through so much trouble to buy something from a blogshop, and still came with such cheery smiles and gratitude. Customers like that are very nice to deal with :) Us sellers are human beings with feelings too, so it's nice to know that there're such nice customers out there. Kudos to her :) she actually kinda cheered me up!

Just writing to thank her, nothing much actually. and to tell the other customers who have done something similar that little gestures like this DO make the seller happy. :)

goodnight! ;)

hey FT,

im a frequent shopper online and have experienced with some vry irresponsible sellers. I'm so annoyed by some sellers online :(

Its like, they like rushing us to PAY UP PAY UP, and after I've done so.... like urrr few days or a week later, telling me no stock. hav to Refund.

i am really annoyed by this fact. Before they start making people to pay, i think they should find out or make sure whether you have the item first, then only ask ppl to pay.

or some i paid for this colour, they say no more, ask me to take the other colour. really im not happy with it. so even if its refund.... im not happy because i took the trouble and all to pay up and decide sigh

i just hope to tell the sellers out there, to make sure you confirm have the stock first *its different case if its restockable items*, then only ask ppl to pay and send out. not delay few days and reply mails few days later... we shoppers are really eager about it thats why we r in such hurry to buy and receive our items!

Its jus like the feelings, a buyer keeps asking to reserve and all, take few days or more to reply, and then back up. its the same feelings for buyers n sellers. so both should corperate with one another , and understand the ethics and basic rules :)

thats all. thanks!

WARNING

We received an email by a seller who wanted to bring this issue to the public, hoping this scam. do read on the following. this is especially important for sellers that are conducting pre-orders.

Good evening,
We are emailing blogshops including yourself, who are currently or have undergone pre-orders procedures online.
Due to the uprising cases of scams because of these pre-orders,we are taking extra precautions and thus,we will
need full detail/steps of how you are carrying/carried out yourpre-order to determine whether you are legally
certified/allowed to carry these out. We will need to contact your suppliers as well, hence, do include their details
in your detailed report and after which, we will let you know if indeed, you will be allowed to proceed with your pre-order business.
If in fact, we find out your pre-order is a scam, you and anyone else involved will be punished severely.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Regards,
Michelle Chong,
Customs Officer.

Hi there FT,

A friend of mine showed me this blog ages ago, and I must say, this is a fantastic blog you've set up here. I mean buyers will be able to check out the various prices that those E-Shops offers and get to know which E-Shops provides the best customer services. I truly enjoy reading all these post and entries.
Anyway, after reading all those blogs, as a buyer, I thought I might as well add a little something for those readers out there.

Now, I am one of those girls who go crazy over accessories. I always try to get an extra little something to go with my perfect outfits. Hence, I've started buying earrings, necklace, bracelets, etc from various blogshop. Recently I got a White Rose Ring from the Secret
Garden Collection of The Aura, it was the perfect ring, as it was like the perfect accessories to go with my outfits! Not to mention the price was reasonable as well. By the time I cash in the total amount of money (ring + postage), the price was less than RM 20. The owner of The Aura was pretty nice too. As it was my first time buying stuff from her, I had loads of
questions about her stuff, and she replied my email after a few hours of sending it and she was quite patience and helpful in answering my questions. Not only that, all her accessories are quite reasonable in terms of $$$$ and her designs are very unique.

So, a few days ago, I was browsing through those blogs, and I came across another blog that sells almost the similar things as The Aura. This particular blog, Diary of a Miniature Enthusiast (http://the-mini-diary.blogspot.com/), sells almost the same accessories as The Aura, from the necklaces, to bracelets and many other things. Although the stuff from Diary of a Miniature Enthusiast (DME) were quite alike, I must say that the prices are NOT. Prices of
the accessories from DME are much higher compare towards accessories from The Aura.

Take for example, the White Rose Ring I got from The Aura, I saw the EXACT same thing as DME, and guess what? The Aura was selling it at RM12, and DME was selling it at RM18. That's like 6 ringgit apart? And if I gotten the White Rose Ring from DME, plus the postage money, I would have spend like almost RM 20 just to get the ring. That's pretty hefty for the small accessory.

Not just only one item, I've even made comparison on most of the items between the two blogs, and trust me, they are like much HIGHER when it comes to $$$$$$$...

So basically, that's my observation of the two different blogs I've viewed. I just wanna shared my personal experiences on the things I've come across. Cos' trust me, everyone out there wants to get their hands on some fabulous goods but do not wish to pay a hefty price to get them. Anyways, I hope I have not offended anyone. It's just me looking for some great bargains and sharing it with my peeps.

Till then,
Ta…
